All Quiet on the Home Front

My now prized possession is seen above.

The guild had two groups running on Monday night of this week.
We had 10/10 in one, and then 9/10 in the other. I normally can't make it on these days, but it was labor day, and we were only (really) attempting Nightbane, who we downed first try, and dropped the baby above.

We went over near Aran's room to try Illhoof a couple times for some more loot, but we didn't have the right group makeup, and couldn't quite do it.

So, we cleared to Netherspite to take a look for the first time, ran in naked, and died a painful, dragony, death, getting Netherspite to 97% with the whole raid naked.

"Hathorn, I have a question for you, I am leveling a Druid right now, he's level 32 at the moment, and I wanted to know, what do you think the best spec is to level up fast?" --Hsunda

Well, Hsunda, I may have answered your question in game, but I figured it would probably be asked again some other time, so here it is. I leveled up Resto to 30, Feral to 60, raided Resto at 60 in MC/BWL/Ony, respecced Balance, and leveled Balance 60-70. It was pretty messed up. I would NOT recommend Resto to level.

Honestly, I think the fastest, would be Feral, there is no real downtime so long as you keep your First Aid up, you have no Mana Pool to have to refill, and you just have to worry about your health bar. Also, so long as you keep up with the gear, you can also be used as a tank in instances.

Hope that answers the question that may have been on your mind.

You've been Hathorned.

hey dude cool blog mate wee question was whats the addon your using for your equitment crit and dodge chance?
Btw just got to 59 now halfway through it closing into 60 like feral but messed around with balance and found it fun but found myself more oomkin than boomkin.. so is there a talent build you would recommend for feral leveling 60-70 mostly soloing outside of instances? also thing that keeps bugging me is at 60 should i start focusing more on agility than strength to start building up more dodge for damage mitigition? thanks mate

Hrm, let's put things in an order here.. :D

1)RatingBuster is the mod to show the stats.
2)Once you get to 60, I would recommend stepping into the Boomkin shoes, at least until 66 when you can start tanking effectively. All it really requires is a fill up on water every level or so. (I buy 80 at a time).
3)If you do decide to stick to Feral, here is where I think you should be sitting at 60: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxhGsfroezioV0b

Finish up Natural Shapeshifting, put 5 in Naturalist, 3 in Intensity, and 1 in OoC on your way to 70.

4)On your way to 70, you want to build an effective DPS set, and focus on a tanking set as a 2nd Priority. Buy the Heavy Clefthoof set at 70, and you can go here: http://www.gurgleblaster.net/emmerald/Bear_Mitigation/Head.html
to see some of the best gear at 70 for doing whatever.

5)In your DPS set, stack Agil more than Strength, it affects Crit, Dodge, and AP.

Hope this helps.
